Safekeeping of Client Money and Client Assets

UNLU Merchant Bank is authorised to hold and safeguard client money and custody assets in accordance with the applicable FCA Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS) rules.

We have established arrangements with carefully selected banks, custodians and third-party service providers to support the safekeeping and administration of our clients' money and investments.

Client Money

Client money is held with carefully selected bank(s) in London in accordance with the applicable FCA CASS rules.

Appropriate controls, records, and reconciliation processes are maintained to support the proper identification, safeguarding and administration of client money in accordance with our regulatory obligations.

Custody Assets

UNLU Merchant Bank has established custody arrangements with carefully selected third-party custodians to hold and safeguard clients' investments and other custody assets.

Multrees Investor Services Limited

UNLU Merchant Bank has appointed Multrees Investor Services Limited ("Multrees"), an FCA-authorised UK provider of custody and investment administration services, as one of its custody service providers.

Through this arrangement, Multrees provides custody and related administrative services in respect of client assets, supporting the safekeeping and administration of our clients' investments.

Maybank Securities Pte. Ltd.

UNLU Merchant Bank may also hold custody assets with Maybank Securities Pte. Ltd. in Singapore on behalf of its clients.

This arrangement enables us to support clients investing in a variety of asset classes across UK and international markets. Maybank Securities Pte. Ltd. may provide custody services in respect of clients' custody assets in accordance with the relevant custody arrangements and applicable regulatory requirements.

Other International Custody Arrangements

Depending on a client's investment requirements and the markets in which they invest, UNLU Merchant Bank may utilise other carefully selected custodians or service providers to support international custody arrangements

We carry out appropriate initial and ongoing due diligence on our banks, custodians and other key service providers. This includes consideration of their regulatory status, financial standing, operational capabilities, safeguarding arrangements and the services they provide.

Our objective is to maintain arrangements designed to support the appropriate safeguarding and administration of client money and custody assets and to ensure that our arrangements remain suitable for the services we provide to our clients.
